1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of Origin, including the web platform and the Android and iOS mobile applications. By installing, accessing, or using Origin, you agree to comply with these terms.

Origin provides workforce management tools that may include employee administration, attendance, leave, payroll, tasks, chat, file sharing, and communication workflows. Some mobile features also rely on device permissions such as camera, document access, microphone, or calling-related capabilities.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create or administer an Origin account.

If you register on behalf of a company, you must have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Information submitted during sign-up, onboarding, or employment workflows must be accurate and kept reasonably up to date.

3. Use of Services

Permitted Use

• Managing workforce operations such as attendance, leave, payroll, tasks, chat, and internal collaboration
• Using approved mobile device capabilities for attendance evidence, document sharing, and in-app communication
• Internal employer and employee use within a legitimate organizational environment
• Operational reporting, audit trails, and platform workflows supported by Origin

Prohibited Use

• Unauthorized access to employee, company, chat, task, or payroll data
• Misuse of microphone, file, camera, or communication features in violation of law or company policy
• Attempting to disrupt, reverse engineer, exploit, or bypass Origin security or billing controls
• Redistributing, sublicensing, or reselling access to Origin without written authorization

5. Payments & Subscription

Paid Origin plans, seats, and digital add-ons are billed in INR according to the pricing shown at checkout and in your employer billing dashboard. Origin is a SaaS product; fees are for software access, not physical goods.

Online payments may be processed through authorized payment gateways such as Razorpay. By completing checkout, you authorize the selected payment method to be charged for the stated amount, taxes (if applicable), and any renewals you enable.

Non-payment, failed capture, chargeback abuse, or fraudulent activity may lead to restricted access. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our dedicated policies:

6. Data & Privacy

Security, sessions, and user responsibility

You are responsible for protecting account access on your devices and for using Origin's communication, attendance, and file features lawfully. Origin may suspend or revoke access for security abuse, unauthorized sharing, fraud, or misuse of workforce data.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes relating to Origin's services, including the Android and iOS mobile applications, are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
